another beautiful day trip many flowery country roads on both sides,

past many lakes with small islands and forests, today was only sunshine and it seems that the summer finally arrived in Sweden. I landed at Lake Vänern. I stay here for one night and then follow the road south.

a very nice day trip all over country roads past many lakes and forests,

sometimes rain and sunshine, I enjoyed the excursion very much and landed in Äppelbo on a nature campsite,

here I stay safely one night before it goes on to lake Vänner, This time on the east side of the lake. After I arrived at the campsite, a couple with two children and a friend came to the campsite to sleep one night.

They joined the triathlon nearby and camp here too. It was great to have some people around, we had a nice chat despite the mosquitoes and small flies trying to "kill us"

Two relaxing days, however, the weather was not very friendly and very windy all the time, so I tried the video editing and did some new travel episodic films.

As the weather did not improve and the forecast had no good weather in sight, I decided to continue traveling.

I enjoyed a nice drive with a few stops to take some drone pictures. and got some other nice shots:

I landed at Norra Dellen campsite, where I was already last year.

The campsite is managed by Nicole and Reto from Switzerland. After a nice chat, I am looking for a good place for the night. I have planned tomorrow, continue to drive south, warmer temperatures and hopefully a bit better weather the next day, as it rains here after a nice day :)

All clothes were dry today, so let's go south. I decided to drive directly to Ramvik to one of my favorite campsites.

I had a nice place overlooking the lake and the sunset. omorrow we expect some rain, but then a few sunny days should follow and I'm looking forward to some days of travel rest. Today the temperatures are around 15 ° C, which is still a bit lower than last year, where we got up to 30 ° C

So thank you for reading all my blogs. Now I have a few days off. Maybe I will update some pictures here.

I stayed another night at Kemi as the weather was bad all around me so I updated my photos and blog and tried a few things with Apples Imovie to work on my travel movie

after an easy ride along the east coast of Sweden and some shopping stops to get all my stuff for Sweden I arrived at Boviken at a nice but as well expensive campsite, so I decided to wash all my cloth, make some office work enjoy the evening.

I might travel further south tomorrow

as I’m looking forward for one or two nice campsites I have visited last year to stay a few more days, do a break, relax and enjoy life.

Rally time, quite a wild ride on today's gravel roads from Inari to Kemi, At the beginning everything was ok,

but I suspected the serious that the co-pilot has had serious problems with the navigation

some of the roads were not in a really good shape and you had to pay good attention that you didn’t hit to many of the potholes, especially the deep ones.

arrived in Kemi the weather does not really look much better at least it is about 5° warmer than yesterday.

so doing some work on the pictures and the planing for my next trip, I guess Sweden won’t be far

good morning sunshine :)

heading south again, after the marvellous trip to Gamvik, we get back to normal.

after a nice ride on gravel roads in between of forest I found this Campsite in inari, direct at a lake, not too shabby, but the weather forecast says three day of rain and temperatures at 5° to 10° so i won’t stay long here.

What a great trip, right after the start I crossed the border to Norway, in Tana Norway I got the opportunity to fill up my diesel tank, I took the chance, because my tank was already half empty and you do not have so many gas stations looks up here. After that, it did not take long for the road to get smaller and less traffic. and soon the first reindeer groups were in sight. After the traffic had subsided, the trees disappeared as well and soon the snow landscape came, of course I took the opportunity to throw a snowball :)

lakes with ice, stony landscapes with magnificent views, over half-frozen lakes and to the sea.

I came to Gamvik, went to the lighthouse and enjoyed a coffee and a delicious homemade cinnamon bun in perhaps the northernmost coffee-shop in Europe. :)

After a few photos and a meeting with other Swiss people who were traveling with their motorhomes, I decided to move on, yes, the only possibility was to head south, so I'm already on my way home :) So another good 3 hours ride, with some stops to make drone pictures and movies,

the scenery was just fantastic and it was almost windless, perfect to make some nice pictures with the drone.

At the end of my day trip I found a perfect place for the night in "nowhere", pretty good view, from my sleeping place.

Tomorrow I will head back to Finland to be further south and at warmer temperatures
