from: Xonrupt-Longemer France to: Seengen Switzerland
Km 188

After 42 days and about 10'000 km I arrived back home

Countries crossed: Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Czechia, Polen, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Switzerland

It was again a fantastic trip with wonderful impressions from different
countries and cities,

most impressed me the travel section from the border between Finland and Norway to the "right" Nordkapp (Gamvik) and back,

the scenery was phenomenal.

Many thanks to everyone who followed my journey by reading my blog.

I am looking forward to the next adventure with my Bulli and hope that next time I will be able to convey some of the fascination of traveling with great pictures and reports too.

After the Netherlands had tested the suspension of my car through the artificially created street elevations, in almost every city, the suspension in Belgium was tested by the bad roads, the roads were mostly so bad that you could hardly tell if it was an artificial obstacle to slow the traffic or just a common pothole.

I passed Luxembourg and ended up at a large campsite on Lake de Longemer.

If all goes well, I'll arrive home tomorrow. I keep my fingers crossed and happy to see my family and friends again

05.07.2019 from: Blijham Netherland to: Eersel Netherland

from: Blijham Netherland to: Eersel Netherland
Km 341

Today I drove first to Giethoorn, it is really a nice little town, with many canals.

In general, of course, the many canals and drawbridges in the Netherlands are noticeable, in order to give the ships passage.

Then I went to a parking lot outside Amsterdam and then by bike in the city center. Great weather, shopping, eating, a little stroll through the city

and then back to the van by bike.

Then I went on to Eersel a small beautiful campsite
where I will spend the night.

They also have mosquitoes here, but compared to their Scandinavian friends they are hardly remarkable. It is remarkable, however, that it gets dark again at night :).

The next destination in Navi is the 700 m distant Seengen and on rural roads it takes two days until I get home :)

04.07.2019 from: Copenhagen Denmark to Blijham Netherland

date: 04.07.2019
from: Copenhagen Denmark to Blijham Netherland
Km 751

This day was actually just to get there to escape the rainy weather, so I can enjoy Giethoorn and Amsterdam in good weather and then find a campsite just south of Amsterdam. After quite a ride,
I arrived in Blijham at Andre's RV Park, nothing fancy, but everything you need, and that for 12 € a night, that's fair.

After dinner I planned for the next day and now I go to bed early today,
as tomorrow is also early bird weather;)

from: Överlida Sweden to: Copenhagen Denmark
Km 224

02.07.19

another rainy day, at least until noon, so a good opportunity for some business work, some work on my drone images and some calls to friends, since the wifi in this campsite works surprisingly well.

I am looking forward to another visit to Copenhagen and hope
that the weather is a bit better than here, then maybe I go to the Netherlands and look at Giethoorn.

Apparently the sensor of the water tank was not broken, the tank was really empty, not sure if I really used that much water this time or if a seal is leaky, I have to keep an eye on this

03.07.19

The early worm gets the bird, so I got up early this morning to have breakfast,

take a shower, fill up the water tank.

After refilling my tank, I drove to Helsingborg to catch the ferry

and I had another nice experience with the ferry. I went on board the ferry, and before I was on deck, the ferry had already left the harbor, I took the opportunity to eat something and to check out the deck, then it was time to return to the van, Denmark here we are! So let's move to Copenhagen.

I landed at the Copenhagen Amateur Sailing Club, which also has some caravan parking, if you are lucky, and I was, I got one of the last places. I took my bike and made a little drive through the beautiful city of Copenhagen, it is great to be back here. I visited Christiania and Nyhavn.

I will not stay here for long as the campsite is not really nice, just very convenient for getting into town by bike

01.07.2019 from: Hällekis Sweden to Överlida Sweden

date: 01.07.2019
from: Hällekis Sweden to Överlida Sweden
Km 185

After a windy and sunny day in Hällekis, I decided to move on, after the wind, the weather forecast had rain in sight, so I drove further south and ended in Överlida on a beautiful campsite next to a small lake.

I stay here I might spend two days using the bad weather for office work
and travel plans and see what will comes next on my route, as I am already near Denmark.

Today I made only a short stop at a small, pretty church to take a little walk,
read the inscriptions of the graves and let the thoughts go.
